supporting local dreams

Businesses I trust

Thank you so much for supporting my small business, for supporting my dream.  As a small business, I recognise how difficult it can be and the importance of empowering one another.  So I have decided that I will be sharing with you the small, local businesses that I trust and use.  Some of these I have worked along side and some I use myself.  So take a look at their websites – you may find yourself a new favourite place.

Moo Music

Moo Music Sutton Coldfield, run by Amy, is my absolute favourite baby/toddler class.  Sienna loved it from Day 1.  Amy used to work in EYFS and you can tell because her sessions are innovative, creative, musical, fun and stimulating for the children.  There are lots of different class types across Sutton Coldfield and you’re always welcome.

Louise Marie hair and Make Up

Whether it is for your own wedding, as a guest or a special night out, Louise Marie Make Up gets you looking fabulous and feeling like a million dollars.  I recommend Louise for your hair and make up for your sessions if you are wanting to have the perfect look.

Heaven Sent

I first found Kelly when she was on her own in her first salon.  She absolutely saved my tan the day before my wedding and I will forever be thankful.  Her expertise and knowledge saved me looking like an orange on the most important day of my life.  Kelly now has two salons – one in Boldmere and one in Lichfield.  Her team are fab – I highly recommend the hot stones massage.

Nikki’s Rejuvinate salon is just behind me so perfectly local for me to go and get my nails done and have that special ‘me’ time.  They offer many different beauty therapies and treatments so why not go and check them out – get relaxing!

From Bumps to Babies

Linda is a private midwife, doula and fountain of all knowledge for maternity, babies and birth.  I was suffering with sciatica when pregnant with Lucas.  No exaggeration – I hobbled in and skipped out of my pregnancy massage.  Linda is a miracle worker.  She is also available for home births.  Having spent time with her, I wouldn’t want anyone else at the birth of my next baby.

NCT Sutton Coldfield

NCT is a fabulous charity group which supports new moms and parents to be.  They offer antenatal classes, pregnancy yoga and have local meet ups so you can get to know like-minded parents.  It’s nice to have that support and know you’re not alone during those first couple of months.
