Cheeky Smiles and Personalities at the ready … 

Your baby has changed so much since their newborn photographs and now have ultra cute smiles and little personalities developing. What better time in their life to get updated professional portraits – I can capture their personality so you’ll always remember.  

Sitter photography sessions usually take place when your baby is 6-10 months old. They do have to be able to sit solidly and independently for these sessions to work best. This type of session usually takes place in my home studio however we can go to an outdoor location of your choice should you prefer. 

Once your session is booked, I will invite you to come to the studio for a consulation where we will discuss a theme – this could be something your baby (or you!) is interested in, something that will go with their nursery/bedroom or something just for fun. Typical sitter sessions are either majority prop based, milk bath, bubble bath or fruit splash. If you choose to have a milk bath or fruit splash, you will be required to carry out an allergy patch test at least 48 hours prior to the photoshoot and is ideally best once baby has tried the milk or fruit as part of moving on to solid food to ensure of no allergies.  

My sitter sessions are split into 3 parts. The first would be an opportunity for you and your family to have up-to-date pictures with your baby. I always encourage parents to have photos with their little one as it’s a lovely record for your child to have when they’re older. The second would be in an outfit provided by me with a styled prop set up. The final element to the sitter sessions would be either another prop set up or the milk/bath/fruit part. These bits are always fun – something babies this age love and you get some real cheeky smiles during this part of the session. The session is no longer than an hour as that can be a lot for a baby of this age.
